Escala mayor
Patrón de tonos: T T S T T T S (tono, tono, semitono…). En C mayor son las teclas blancas: C D E F G A B.
Menor natural

Piano scales: the map of every key
A scale is the set of “home” notes in a key. Know the scale and you know which chords and melodies fit.
Major scale
Step pattern: W W H W W W H (whole, whole, half…). In C major that’s the white keys: C D E F G A B.
Natural minor
The relative of a major key. C major’s relative is A minor (same notes, different center).
Why it matters
- Improvise without random wrong notes
- Understand why a chord “fits”
- Step into modes and jazz later
